Which functions are currently available?

Currently, the device offers the following functions:

  • Detect falls out of bed & trigger an alarm before a foot is placed on the floor.
  • Falling out of bed is detected as getting out of bed & an alarm is triggered
  • Distinguishing between people in front of the bed and people getting out of bed
  • Comforters hanging over the device do not trigger a false alarm, but also do not block the alarm if someone actually gets out of bed.
What are the dimensions of the bed sensor?

The device has the following dimensions: length 100 cm; width 6 cm; depth 2.2 cm

Are an Internet connection or WLAN a prerequisite?

The integrated WLAN module enables fast and uncomplicated software updates to the device in the future. This means that the bed sensor is always up to date and maximally safe. 

Our facility does not have Wi-Fi. Is that a problem?

In principle, the WLAN has no influence on the basic function (bed exit alarm) of the bed sensor. In the future, it will be used to download automatic software updates to the device. Even if the device works without WLAN, we recommend connecting the device to the Internet in the long term. This way you can benefit from regular updates and always new functions. We would be happy to help you find the right WLAN solution for your setup.

What features are planned for new versions in the short and medium term?

The device is to become even more intelligent in the future. Individual settings will be possible for each device that are precisely tailored to the resident. In addition, bed entrances will also be detected and a chronicle of activities will be made available. 

Does the product have CE certification?

Yes, the bed sensor has CE certification.

Mounting

Can I install the bed sensor without any manual skills?

The attachment of the device is simple and takes no more than 2 minutes. To do this, the supplied hooks are simply clicked onto the bar and then hooked onto the respective bed frame. After that, the sensor only needs to be coupled with the call system. And the device is ready for use. 

Are assembly instructions included with the delivery?

With the bed sensor you will also receive detailed installation instructions, which will facilitate the installation.

Order and delivery

When do I have to pay for the bed sensor I ordered?

When you pre-order your equipment, you don’t have to pay for it yet. You will receive the invoice only when your order is on its way to you. We will send you regular information about your delivery status.

When can I expect the delivery devices?

We are currently completing the final testing phase under real conditions and finalizing the product. After that, we will go into production for the first delivery. We will then be able to deliver from Q3/2021. We will keep you constantly updated on your order so that you always know which steps are still missing until you receive your delivery. 

How do I know the current status of my order?

We will inform you about the status of your order by e-mail at regular intervals. This way you will always know exactly what we are working on so that your delivery arrives on time.
